Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing saltlightstudio.com or booking services with Saltlight Studio Co., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services. A signed client agreement for a specific project will control if it conflicts with these terms.

2. Services

We provide photography, video production, editing, brand content, event coverage and studio rental services as described on the Site and in your written quote. Package contents, deliverables and timelines are as stated at the time of booking.

3. Quotes and pricing

Prices on the Site are in US dollars and may change without notice. Your price is fixed once you receive a written quote and sign the agreement. Applicable sales tax, travel fees and approved add-ons are billed in addition to package prices.

4. Booking and payment

A signed agreement and a 30% non-refundable retainer are required to reserve a date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot unless otherwise agreed in writing. Final files are released once payment is received in full. Late balances may incur a fee of 1.5% per month.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellations, rescheduling and weather delays are governed by our Booking & Refund Policy.

6. Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and arrive on time and prepared
• Secure any permits, property permissions or model releases for people you invite, unless we agree to handle them
• Supervise any minors you bring to a session
• Treat our team, equipment and studio with care; you are responsible for damage caused by you or your guests

7. Intellectual property

We retain copyright in all images and footage we create. You receive the license described in your package and on our Image Usage & Licensing page. Site content, including text, design and graphics, is owned by us and may not be copied without permission.

8. Creative style and revisions

Our editing style is shown in our portfolio. We include one round of revisions on video edits. Additional revisions, re-edits for a different style, or advanced retouching are billed at our current rates.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for those services. If we cannot perform due to illness, emergency or equipment failure, we will try to provide a qualified replacement or reschedule; if neither is possible, we will refund payments received, which is your sole remedy. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Website use

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use automated tools to copy its content. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida.
